Arcane: Ranged Magic Damage Dealer.

Arcane mages are dynamic and forceful when in combat. Their spells hit hard and they can almost shoot them off as fast as any hunter. They specialize in continually volleying there opponent with attacks and being able to stop others from cast spells. Arcane mages special ability is called Arcane Barrage. This is an instant cast spell that causes a high amount of damage at a 40 yard range, and has only a 4 second cool down. With the ability to be able to use this spell so often, arcane missiles will definitely proc more often, which is very good for arcane mages since they have a passive skills called Arcane Specialization, which increases their arcane damage by 25%.

These mages also have a talent called Improved Arcane Missiles which can increase the number of missiles fired off by 1, this greatly upsurges the mages damage overall seeing as Arcane Missiles is there second main attack.

Rotation when FIghting Melee Opponents:

1. Frostbolt

2. Arcane Barrage

3. Fire Blast

4.Arcane Missiles (if it procs) or Frostbolt

5. Arcane Barrage

6. Repeat step 4 and 5 until opponent is defeated

Rotation when Fighting Range Opponents:

1. Arcane Barrage

2. Arcane Missiles (if it procs) or Fireball

3. Arcane Barrage

4.Repeat step 2 and 3 until opponent is defeated

Tip - Be wary if Arcane Missiles procs, because it is your main attack, also remember to counterspell your opponent if they're a healer or range magic damage dealers.

Fire: Ranged Magic Damage Dealer.

Fire mages are a kind of power-house class, as their attacks are slow to cast but very powerful. If you have read my previous hub called "WoW 19 twink class - hunter", then I would tell you that Fire mages are much played like the Marksmanship hunters, they're stand still class. They gain the ability called Pyroblast, this is a 5 second cast spell that causes a huge sum of fire damage to the target with a long lasting 12 second dot that causes just above half of the initial damage.

Some of you may think that 5 seconds is too long to cast. (which I personally thought it was too) but Fire mages get this nifty talent called Burning Soul, this reduces 70% of the casting time lost from taking damaging attacks, which will help a lot with Pyroblast and all your other spells too. Fireball and Fireblast will both also become very useful to Fire mages seeing as they already do so much damage, plus they will get an increase of 25% damage from the passive ability called Fire Specialization.

Rotation when Fighting Melee Opponents:

1. Pyroblast

2. Fire Blast

3. Fireball x3

4. Repeat step 2 and 3 until opponent is defeated

Tip - Remember to use Frost Nova to trap your opponents if they are too close, and also Cone of Cold to instantly slow them if they escape from Frost Nova.

Rotation when Fighting Range Opponents:

1. Pyroblast

2 Fireball spam until opponent is defeated

Tip - Remember to Counterspell your opponent if they are a healer or spellcaster.

Frost: Ranged Magic Damage Dealer

Frost mages are skilled kiters and are excellent at crowd control. They are able to easily slow down and freeze multiple targets at long and short ranges even at level 19. Frost mages obtain the spell Summon Water Elemental, this gives them a Water Elemental pet to help fight for them. The elemental was two abilities, the first is called Waterbolt, this is a 2.5 second cast spell that does minimal damage, but at an extremely long range.

Their second spell is called Freeze, this allows the mage to blast enemies within an 8 yard radius freezing them for up to 8 seconds and causing a reasonable amount of damage. Freeze is exceptionally effective in pvp when trying to flee or trying to kite your opponent. When using it with the talent Shatter as well, (which increases the damage of frostbolt by 20% and multiplies the critical strike chance of all spells by 3 against frozen targets), Freeze becomes the one move that makes all the difference.

Rotation when Fighting Melee Opponents:

1. Frostbolt

2. Freeze

3. Frostbolt spam until the opponent dies

Tip - Remember to use Frost Nova to trap your opponents if they are too close, and also Cone of Cold to instantly slow them if they escape from Frost Nova.

Rotation when Fighting Range Opponents:

1. Frostbolt spam until opponent dies

Tip - If you are about to lose the fight, use your pet's Freeze ability to help make an easy escape.
